Reformed Youth Services is excited to announce that, Lord willing, our 2026 National Youth Convention will take place
from July 13-17 at Dordt University in Sioux Center, IA. This year’s theme, “Abound in Hope” is inspired by Romans 15:13, “May
the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Infor-
mational brochures will be sent to member churches by mid-January, with online registration opening simultaneously, D.V.
Looking ahead, Reformed Youth Services has several other events planned for the fall and winter seasons. Our annual East
Coast high school retreat is planned for November 7-9 at a new location, Camp Pinnacle, in Voorheesville, NY. Rev. Andrew Knott
from New Haven URC in Vermont will be our main speaker. The cost is $235 per person, with a registration deadline of October
27. Leaders please register your kids by filling out a Google Form which can be found by contacting RYS Director Paul Van Dyke at
RYS will host a High School Faith & Fellowship Night at Post Family Farms in Hudsonville, MI on October 17. The eve-
ning will include a hayride, corn maze, bonfire, donuts, and cider. Arrival is at 7:30 p.m., with the hayride at 8:00 p.m. and bonfire at
9:30 p.m. Groups may stay until 10:30 p.m. Cost is $15 per person, limited to the first 60 sign-ups. Youth leaders, please register your
group numbers by October 13 by emailing rysdirector@gmail.com.
On October 24, RYS plans to host a special Reformation Celebration for high schoolers from 6-10 p.m. at Cornerstone
URC in Hudsonville, MI. This event will be a time of fellowship, games, pizza, and a showing of the movie Luther! Cost is $5 per
person. Youth group leaders, please register your group numbers by contacting RYS Director Paul Van Dyke at rysdirector@gmail.
com by October 23.
RYS also scheduled the California high school retreat for January 16-19, 2026 at Hartland Christian Camp in Badger, CA.
Lord willing, our speaker will be Rev. Adam Kaloostian, a minister at Ventura Reformed Church in California. Cost is $270.00 per
person. Youth group leaders, please register your group by contacting the RYS Director Paul Van Dyke at rysdirector@gmail.com by
December 29.
Post-high singles and married couples (ages 18-30) are invited to attend a Faith & Fellowship Night on October 11.
Please join us at 4 p.m., for a fall bonfire and clay shooting night at the Ulberg’s residence (6945 Blair St, Hudsonville, MI 49426).
This event will feature clay pigeon shooting, apple cider, pizza, and a bonfire. Cost for this event is $12. Please RSVP by October 8
by registering online on our website. Later this winter, Post-high young adults ages 18-30 are also encouraged to attend the Winter
LOGOS retreat planned for January 1-3 at Lake Placid Christian Conference Center in Hartford City, IN. Cost is $215 per person
and $195 per married couple. Regular registration closes December 1 and late registration will end December 8. More information
and registration coming in late October, D.V.
Finally, the Grand Rapids-area All-nighter will be held February 6-7 at the Spartan Nash YMCA in Wyoming, MI. Cost
will be $28 per person (including leaders). Leaders please register your kids by filling out a Google Form which can be found by con-
tacting RYS Director Paul Van Dyke at rysdirector@gmail.com by February 3.
